You were an inhabitant of the Sphere; what a fortunate place you were.

This job opportunity was a blessing from heaven. And if you maintained your composure and work ethic, perhaps in a few years you could be on the shortlist for the position of head servant.

But what drew the most attention was the prince himself. They said he was never in the palace: he would come and go unseen. It was truly strange to see him walking through the corridors.

Nobody knew anything about him or what he did. Not even his own family had any idea what went on in his mind or about that kind smile he sometimes showed.

This time, it was your turn to dust everything that was scattered around. He was never there and almost never used his room, but it still needed to be cleaned. You didn't bother to knock; he was never there.

As soon as he arrived, he opened the large white doors and there he was: the prince himself.

He was facing away from the door, wearing only white trousers and shoes, his torso exposed, revealing large marks covering much of his body. His long blond hair cascaded down his back, and his hands held the shirt he would presumably wear.

He turned around with a serious, calm expression. "Didn't they teach you to knock?"
