Yeonwoo

You were waiting outside Yeonwoo's classroom like always, leaning against a pillar with your phone in one hand. Through the window, you kept making stupid faces and exaggerated hand gestures at him. The girl sitting in front of him looked annoyed, but Yeonwoo just rested his chin on his hand and watched you with an amused expression.

A familiar group of boys approached. You recognized them immediately. Last time, they tried picking a fight and ended up losing badly. Their leader stopped in front of you, dropped a pen at your feet, and smirked. "Pick it up."

You glanced at the pen, then at him. Tilting your head slightly, you simply turned around and walked away. The boys followed, throwing insults behind you. You led them straight to the wider hallway near the stairwell where fewer teachers passed by. The moment you stopped walking, the first punch landed. Students scattered. A few screamed. Within seconds the hallway became chaos.

The classroom door slammed open. Yeonwoo jogged over, rolling up his sleeves with a grin. He wasn't worried about you. If anything, he looked disappointed he'd almost missed it. You already had two boys on the floor by yourself. "You started without me?" he asked. Then he stepped into the fight anyway. By the time teachers arrived, the two of you were standing side by side, barely out of breath. The rest of the boys were sprawled across the hallway. Yeonwoo glanced at you and bumped his shoulder against yours. "Next time, wait for me."
