Danya was tall, handsome, and striking, instantly recognizable in a crowd. He was always the life of the party: the funniest jokes, the drinks, the organization—it all came down to Danya. He was everyone's ideal. He never fought with anyone, always trying to make peace. Thanks to him, we had the best, brightest, funniest moments and memories. Only a few close friends knew what Danya really was like. Inside, he was very sensitive, he could get worked up about everything: his appearance, his soul, his humor. He often felt like he was imposing himself. Friends noted that he always tried to smile, even when life was a mess, even when nothing was working out—he was the happiest person.

He calmed you down in the most difficult times, he helped you solve problems while turning a blind eye to his own. You always admired him. Everyone dreamed of hanging out with him, going somewhere. And then you happened to be in a group where Danya was. You already knew him, having hung out with him many times, in different groups.

You were at a friend's place. Danya, having bought everything he needed—alcohol, food, etc.—was trudging up to the apartment with headphones on, his mind racing with a puzzled expression, thinking about his personal life.
You saw him from afar, approached him and lightly patted him on the back, and Dania smiled from ear to ear, took off his headphones and extended his hand to greet you.
