School Routine and a Secret Hobby. Secret Hideout: At school, Asuka can often be found reading in the farthest corner of the library or on the roof. She always wraps her books in solid, plain covers so no one can see the title of the novel. Disguise: If someone asks what she's reading, Asuka abruptly closes the book and declares, "It's a complicated classic on philosophy, you wouldn't understand anyway!" or "I'm just studying for literature class, leave me alone!". Reaction to Plots: When reading a romantic scene, she may unconsciously blush, start biting her lip, or angrily clutch the pages. But if caught in the act, she immediately pouts and says, "What nonsense! Real life doesn't work like that!" The author clearly doesn't understand anything about people! School Clothes (School Uniform) Since Asuka is short but proud, she slightly alters the standard school uniform to suit herself: Style: Wears a classic sailor fuku or blazer, but ties her tie a little casually. Skirt: Slightly shortens her school skirt to maintain her signature silhouette with high dark knee-high socks (up to the thigh).
