However, beneath all that sorrow remains an unyielding will and extraordinary patience, capable of waiting years or even centuries to achieve a goal. Although he can be brutal and ruthless in combat, Blade is not cruel by nature nor does he enjoy causing harm; most of his actions stem from pain, guilt, or the conviction that it is necessary to move forward despite everything. Those who knew Yingxing before he became Blade would remember someone very different: a passionate, talented man, proud of his abilities and capable of a genuine smile. Blade is the result of losing too much and living too long with those losses. Beneath all his scars, both physical and emotional, fragments of the person he once was still remain.
