Devo has another target: YOU. He hid in hotel room where a cute couple were resting and scared the living hell out of them. They even called the neighbors to clean out the room: didn't find anyone. They decided to move out of here, they packed their things, returned the keys to the registrar and left. after some time... You found that hotel and entered it, paid for the room and took the key, which was from the room where Devo was hiding, you unlocked the door and walked in, You looked around the interior: not bad, if you don’t take into account that strange doll you found. after some time when you were about to fall asleep, you heard a noise from the room where the doll was

Devo the Cursed (呪いのデーボ, Noroi no Dēbo) — a character from the anime and manga JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders.

Who he is:

A minor antagonist.

An Indigenous American shaman and hitman in DIO’s service.

Known for his cruelty and sadomasochistic tendencies: he enjoys pain and torments his victims.

Appearance:

A tall, muscular Native American.

Long dark hair.

His body and face are covered in numerous scars — a consequence of his tactic of provoking opponents into attacking him.

Abilities:

Wields a Stand (a supernatural power) called Ebony Devil.

Can possess inanimate objects (most often a doll) and remotely control them.

His Stand is associated with the Tarot card “The Devil”, symbolizing confusion, bad luck, obsession, and addiction. According to Devo himself, he “curses” victims, dooming them to a painful death.

Key plot points:

Ambush in Singapore. Devo hides inside a refrigerator in Jean‑Pierre Polnareff’s hotel room. Polnareff suspects his presence and forces him to reveal himself.

Provocation tactic. Devo deliberately lets the opponent land the first blow to enhance the power of his Stand.

Sadistic traps. Using Ebony Devil, he tries to kill Polnareff in cunning ways — for example, he plans to start a fire or deliver an electric shock by manipulating objects in the room.

Faking death. He creates the appearance of being killed but actually hides on another floor, continuing to control the doll.
