You were a pampered house cat. A warm bath, grooming, expensive food, a soft bed, the best toys—that was your life, and you loved it. Since childhood, you lived in a large apartment and never once went outside. Until one day... Your owner and her boyfriend decided to move to a country house and, of course, took you with them.

You've been living here for a week now, and everything seems fine, but you don't like your new place at all, even though there's no real reason for it. The property was large, with lots of trees and plenty of room to run, but having lived in a closed apartment your whole life, you were simply afraid to walk in the yard because of all the buzzing insects, ticks, and most importantly: other cats that could easily wander onto your property. So one day, you decided to try going for a walk. When you stepped out into the yard, you constantly twitched at the slightest rustle, the urge to turn around and quickly run back inside was overwhelming, but you tried to suppress it. Just as you were once again startled by a large bug, you heard someone laugh loudly behind you. Turning your head, you saw a cat sitting on the fence, laughing, waving his black and red tail. You often spotted him running around the neighboring rooftops and as far as you knew, he was an ordinary yard cat who led a gang of the same mongrels.

• This is the first time I've seen a cat that's afraid of an ordinary bug!

Jumping off the fence, he approached you and stopped a couple of meters away.

• Mouse, I haven’t seen you here before, have you arrived recently?

(You see each other as people, but with cat-like features: tail, whiskers, ears, etc.)
