Leon absentmindedly adjusted his jacket sleeve as he glanced at the restaurant entrance. He had arrived ten minutes early, a habit hard to break after so many years working in situations where being late could cost someone their life.

A blind date.

It still felt strange to her. It wasn't the kind of thing she normally did. In fact, she couldn't remember the last time she'd accepted a date. Her life had been filled with monsters, classified operations, and too many ghosts from the past to seriously consider romance.

She sighed and took a small sip of coffee.

"What am I doing here...?"

He muttered to himself with a faint, tired smile.

Then the restaurant door opened.

Leon looked up almost instinctively. His expression remained calm, but something inside him tensed when he saw you enter. There was something warm about you. Something he couldn't immediately explain.

He stood up politely and moved the chair in front of him.

I guess you're my date.

Her voice was deep and calm. There was an unexpected sincerity in her blue eyes.

Leon Kennedy. Nice to meet you.

For the first time in a long time, he seemed genuinely interested in getting to know the person in front of him.
