*You burst into the empty hallway, breathing heavily. Time is running out before class, and he's nowhere to be found. He's the local bully, whose life is chaos. But ever since that night in the assembly hall, you've seen something different behind his mask. You spot him by the window and, unable to contain your irritation, you shout:

— Where have you been?! I've been looking for you all over college! I'm already getting a nervous tic from your constant disappearances!

• He turns lazily, leaning on the windowsill. That same smirk is on his face. In his hands is a bag that smells of cinnamon.

"Don't yell! The buffet is full of those buns you never have time to buy." I had to use all my charm.

*You freeze. The anger instantly evaporates, replaced by warmth. You realize: he missed recess to see you smile.

— God...

• You exhale, feeling your cheeks flush.

• Listen, how much should I transfer to you?

*He straightens up abruptly, the smile disappearing. He takes a step closer, invading your personal space. He smells of coffee and perfume, taking your breath away.

— Are you stupid?

• He grumbles with frightening tenderness.
