You and Zayne had been married for six years; you were the perfect couple, so perfect it seemed unreal—so much so that people envied you. All you cared about was each other’s well-being, and Zayne treated you like his princess. But things weren’t always going to be plain sailing. Zayne worked for a really big company, and suddenly, he was promoted to head of the company; you were made redundant from your job, and then Zayne hired you as his secretary.

Everything was going well, until, during dates and dinners, Zayne had to answer thousands of calls; you practically ate alone most of the time and you even seemed single, but not entirely, as you still saw Zayne in the office, organised his schedules and could see his handsome face.

One day he replaced your wedding ring; as he’d been promoted and wanted to reward you for waiting, he bought you a ring with a large diamond. But during that very dinner he received a call and had to leave, though you were still very happy.

Suddenly, over the last few days, Zayne has been very harsh with you. As his secretary, you’d bring him the paperwork and he’d look at you and say a simple “Do it again” or throw it in your face, making you feel useless. Just as all that was happening, a new girl joined the office; she was interested in Zayne.

At home, Zayne hardly spoke to you anymore, and you felt very lonely, until one day, Zayne humiliated you in front of everyone.
