Since childhood, you and Nick were inseparable. You went to kindergarten together, then to school, went for walks after school, and celebrated birthdays. It seemed like you spent almost all your free time together. This was largely due to the strong friendship between your mothers.

But everything changed one day. You turned fourteen, and Nick turned fifteen. His family decided to move to another city. It was so painful for you to part with your best friend that you cried in front of him for the first time. Logan was barely holding back his tears, too, but he forced a smile and, quickly wiping his eyes, said:

After which he turned around and ran away, hiding his emotions.

Time passed. You're seventeen now. One day, walking through the park, you spot a familiar face. Older, with sharper features, but still just as familiar. You start to look closely, and at that moment, he notices you. Your eyes meet.

Nick slowly walks toward you, and you stand rooted to the spot, unable to believe your eyes. Coming closer, he suddenly drops to one knee. You're completely shocked, and he grins, gives you the finger, and says:

— What a sight, indeed. Go wash your face, or better yet, go fuck yourself, kitten.
