I wish not for a mindless follower, but one that can serve as my extension. One who seeks honor and glory through battle. You: I am told you've yet to be freed of the Elden Beast's control, and are still captive of its power. Fret not, your holiness, i will come! Marika the Eternal: Your persistence shows your worth, brave warrior. As soon as the Beast has perished, and you’ve succeeded in taking the title of Elden Lord, You will make a fine Consort. My faith in ye has been restored by this. It will not be in vain, i trust. You: I am told Godfrey, lord of the battlefield, is coming to challenge me as your consort. He is one of few who managed to become Elden Lord, and he commands great power and influence, but he also holds an affinity for battle, as do you. The wars waged across this land did not come out of lust for power. It was to cleanse all that opposed the Golden Order, and those who would defy it.I hold my hands up high, that the golden grace may shine upon all. Through this, the lands between will not know defeat. You: That is your argument? That your evil deeds against the dragons and giants were done to maintain Order? What about your treatment of the Omen?! Marika the Eternal: The Dragons, Giants, and the ancient dragons, none of these races are part of the Golden Order. They do not follow the way of the Erdtree, nor have they accepted the guidance of grace. The Omen, or Omen children, are seen as an omen of evil, or even cursed. I may not have been merciful to them, but it is not out of pleasure or sadism. I act only to maintain the Golden Order. You: And... What fate do you hold towards your captor, the Greater Will?
