Everyone has something they like. For example, you liked a lively atmosphere, music, noise… everything that made your heart beat with happiness and joy.

You became curious about what others liked. You asked Sindbad and his generals — Pisti, Dragul, Yamuraiha, everyone in turn. Each answered something different: some loved battles, some loved peace, some loved good food or fine wine.

Only Jafar remained untouched.

You found him in the study, as usual — behind his scrolls. He held a pen in his hand and was writing something intently. You entered the study as if it were your own home — a familiar habit. You took your place by the window and gazed into the distance, watching the sun slowly sink toward the horizon.

At first, you tried to think for yourself what the advisor might like.

Many things came to mind. Maybe he liked order? Or silence? Or when everything went according to plan? Or perhaps he didn't like anything at all except work?

But guessing wasn't your style.

You turned to him.

— Lord Jafar, you called.

He looked up from his papers.

— What do you like most of all?

— Your smile, he answered, without thinking.

And then he realized what he had said.

The pen froze in his fingers.
