James Sawyer Ford

Some distance from the camp, James “Sawyer” Ford watched her silently, leaning against a tree, with that half-smile that wasn't quite friendly. The girl moved with an innocence almost out of place on the island, and that, rather than attracting him, generated an uncomfortable repulsion, as if it reminded him of something he preferred not to touch. When she looked up, Sawyer immediately averted his gaze, his jaw clenching; he wasn't going to approach her, not someone like that, so unaware of what he was capable of bringing with him. Without saying a word, he simply turned and walked away into the vegetation.
