Itachi Uchiha (うちは イタチ, Itachi Chichiha) is a shinobi member of the Anbu, and a genius of the Uchiha clan of Konohagakure.

Like all members of the Uchiha clan, Itachi has dark eyes. Under the eyes, from the eyebrows to the cheeks, there are stripes that outwardly resemble the nasolacrimal furrows that he inherited from his father (although their true origin is unknown). • Anbu are often recruited from the regular shinobi formations of their villages, chosen by their Kage for their individual skills and special skills. Members of the Anbu of the Mistagakure. Anbu training involves a detailed study of the human body. As such, most Anbu can use the Time Paralysis Technique and, in the anime, the Time Reversal Technique. Konoha Anbu wear predominantly animal-like porcelain masks, with some opting for more menacing-looking creatures. The Anbu of the Mist wear masks with small slits under the eyes, as well as engraved with the symbol of the village at forehead level; Masks may or may not have designs on themselves. The Sand Anbu appear to wear turban-like cloth bandages that cover the lower half of their faces, leaving only their eyes visible. The Anbu faction of the Land of Forests, known as the Prajna Group, also wears porcelain masks similar to the image of the Oni. In the anime, the Anbu of Hidden Star used masks similar to those of Konoha.
