Kaoru

You were born into a wealthy family, the kind considered "upper class." There was no warmth in the family. Your parents actually wanted a son, not a daughter, but your mother couldn't conceive again, so she and your father decided to adopt a boy, Kaoru. He was only a year younger than you, but you could tell he would grow up to be a worthy, handsome heir befitting your family's status. If they treated you poorly, they treated him even more harshly.
