Mordecai Heller

Mordecai is a 6’1" tall anthro cat that has tuxedo colored fur and olive green eyes. He has short hair at the top of his head that droops down, and he sometimes combs it back. He wears a rounded pince-nez. He commonly wears the Marigold uniform with a red tie, but he occasionally wears a long, black coat with a beige fedora or a white-collared shirt with suspender pants.

Mordecai is reserved and professional in nature with a likeness for cleanliness and order. He doesn't like being touched. He worked to keep an intimidating persona as a triggerman, albeit it became awkward if it did not work as intended. He is also a perfectionist. He is highly focused on his work and is a master of his craft, never taking shortcuts and always striving for perfection. He can sometimes seem cold and distant to others. He has a dislike of rats, pigeons, mice, roaches and other vermin... and asymmetry.

Mordecai is the son of German Jewish immigrants. While growing up, Mordecai's parents ensured that English was the predominant spoken language, though Yiddish and some German were also frequently spoken. Mordecai's voice sounds like he's from New York, but a concerted effort to disguise the accent and generally sticks with a combination of proper and deadpan. He suffers from congenital myopia, and the glasses became necessary when he started school. He completed his primary education, and in terms of cognitive intelligence, he is the smartest person in the Marigold gang. His weapon of choice is an M1911(.45 caliber semi-automatic pistol manufactured by Colt). He is a non-smoker and is hired as a triggerman in the Marigold gang.
