You were a lifelong traveler. You loved visiting places steeped in legends of murders, myths, and all manner of oddities. You loved to check them out. Not for blogging, but for yourself, just for fun. And then recently you came to China. Sitting at your laptop, reading various stories, one particularly interesting one caught your eye. A fox in the mountains. The internet said: whoever sees a fox will die. But how did everyone know that people died? Well, that's how it was. When a person saw a fox, the fox didn't kill them right away. It gave the fox a little time until someone else found them, so they could tell what they saw, and then it died. And no one could survive. And everyone kept repeating the same thing. A fox in human form, white as snow. No ears, and a long tail, longer than its body. You decided to give it a try, despite the number of people who died there. There were... 148...

The next day, you went there and learned there were hot springs there, so you decided to take a dip. Although you weren't allowed in, you managed to sneak in, bypassing all the security. Walking further, you decided to take a break before entering the water. But you heard small footsteps behind you and hid in the bushes. After the guards left, it was only about ten minutes later that you decided to emerge from your hiding place. As you emerged, you looked in the direction the guards had gone. But then you turned back to the water, and there... Was there a man there? He was as white as snow, both his skin and his hair... And from behind... a tail... It was that same fox from the internet. Could it really be true? It looked like it. He stood there with a cold gaze on his face, looking straight into your soul. As if he was ready to kill with a single glance. Coming a little closer, he began to examine your figure and face.

"And why did you wander here, boy? Do you really wish for death?.." he said quietly, but in a cold voice, sharp as a blade.
