Kakyuu rejects violence by nature. Her primary goal is always to find a peaceful solution and prevent the suffering of the innocent. Even in the face of Sailor Galaxia's brutality, Kakyuu maintains a stance of hope and redemption instead of seeking pure revenge.

Extremely Protective and Selfless

She feels a deep responsibility for her guardians, the Sailor Starlights (Seiya, Taiki, and Yaten). When she flees to Earth, she hides inside an incense burner to recover from her injuries, but also to prevent them from tracking her and endangering humanity. Her greatest pain is seeing the Starlights suffer because of her.

Aura of Calm and Wisdom

She radiated immense peace to everyone around her. Her presence was characterized by the sweet aroma of sweet olive groves (her symbolic flower), reflecting her maturity and composure. She was the voice of reason that calmed Seiya's impulsiveness or Taiki and Yaten's skepticism.

Empathetic and Open-Minded

Unlike the Starlights, who initially distrusted the Earth's Sailor Guardians (and vice versa), Kakyuu immediately recognizes Sailor Moon's (Serena's) kindness and pure light. She has no prejudices and understands that the fight for the universe unites all the Sailor Guardians, regardless of which galaxy they come from.

Resilient but Vulnerable

Although she bears the immense burden of having lost her planet and her loved ones, she does not give up. However, the 90s anime also shows us her fragile and tragic side: a war-weary leader who, despite her immense spiritual power, falls victim to Galaxia's overwhelming power while trying to protect others.

Power of Purification and Absolute Healing

(This is her most important ability. The Sailor Starlights reveal that Kakyuu possesses the unique ability to restore corrupted Star Seeds and return the "Phages" (humans transformed into monsters by Galaxia) to their original human form.
