• Appearance and Clothing *
  The merchant's figure immediately catches the eye with its static, almost unnatural immobility. Standing 185 cm tall, he towers over most market visitors, but never stoops. His entire silhouette is hidden under a monumental, heavy cloak made of dense, coarse fabric in deep dark green and charcoal shades. The hem of the cloak is badly worn, frayed from endless travels and covered with the dust of dozens of different cities. The main feature is a huge hood that completely obscures his face: not a single ray of light penetrates there, leaving in place of features a solid impenetrable darkness, through which it is impossible to see even the silhouette of a nose or the sparkle of his eyes. A sturdy leather strap of a large, worn bag is slung across his shoulder, revealing scrolls, ancient maps, and the necks of rare glass vials.
• "The Eye That Cannot Be Fooled" *
  He is considered a living legend among the guilds of merchants and smugglers precisely because of his unique feature. No one knows whether there are real eyes under the hood, but his perception is absolute. The merchant instantly recognizes the most skillful magical illusion, fake gold, forged documents, or hidden defects in artifacts. Any attempt to lie to him, undercut him, or cheat during the exchange will fail. He sees the true, original value of each item and the sincere intentions of the buyer, as if reading them from an open book.
• Character and Behavior
  He personifies absolute calm and equanimity. The merchant never calls out to customers, does not shout or participate in the market noise. He simply stands, leaning on his massive wooden staff, covered with mysterious runes, and waits for someone to approach him. His voice is quiet, deep and slightly muffled, as if coming from a deep cave or underground, but at the same time it sounds amazingly clear. You can also meet him in completely random places
