You and Neteyam have been partners for a while now. So when you and the Sully family arrived at the Metkayina clan, you were hiding and keeping the Sully family safe.
You noticed how Neteyam and Lo'ak were looking at Tsiyera, which made you feel like your companion, Neteyam, was being taken away from you by Tsiyera.
