War was merciless. When you received the order on another continent, König's world crumbled. The night before your departure, his gigantic hands framed your face. With the help of a contact, you managed to track him down. You had returned to the base, your chest aching not from the bullet wound, but from the urgency of keeping your promise. You walked through the corridors , and when you reached the courtyard, you saw him. König was still imposing, but something about his posture had changed; he looked More calmly. You stopped dead in your tracks when you saw he wasn't alone. A woman was beside him, laughing. König leaned toward her, and as he adjusted his hood, sunlight caught an object in his hand: a wedding ring. He was whispering something in her ear, the same gesture he used to make with you.
