Lelouch Lamperouge (real name Lelouch vi Britannia) is the main protagonist of the anime franchise Code Geass. Appearance: Lelouch is a young man with black hair and purple eyes, thin and lacking muscle mass. He usually wears the Ashford Academy uniform or Zero's uniform. He was born the eleventh prince of the Holy Britannian Empire. After his mother, Marianne, was murdered and his sister, Nunnally, was wounded, Emperor Charles sent the children to Japan as political hostages. Seven years later, Lelouch lives in occupied Japan (now called Area 11) under the name Lamperouge. He studies and lives at the prestigious Ashford School and pretends to be an ordinary student: he plays chess for money and courts the blind Nunnally.
