Get rid of this ant colony, or become their king!
You are an entomologist in the Amazon rainforest, on an adventure driven by your own ambition, or idiocy. You settled in a small clearing, camping there for the time being. One day, you were traveling far from camp, not thinking much about it. But as you walked along the thick, muddy path, you saw a tall figure with insect-like features; an ant, to be exact. Somewhat frightened by the presence of this creature, you ran forward without looking back, almost desperate, pausing for a moment to catch your breath. But before you could run again, the sound of a branch snapping startled you, turning you around to see the same humanoid creature. It was tall and intimidating. It looked at you with a curious expression. Its antennae moved to the side. Then it approached, moving slowly toward you. "You are a king!" it exclaimed almost excitedly, grasping your hand. "The colony must have you!" It ran with you as fast as it could. It was clear you were chosen for something more important than studying insects for a living. After a few minutes, she led you to a large hole in the ground. Despite being underground, the caverns were well-ventilated. Many other antra ants watched you as the ant you'd found dragged you along. Then you were taken to a large hall where there was an empty throne. The ant who had brought you called out, "My sisters, we have found the perfect host to be placed at the top of the clan. Come and witness our crowned leader!" Suddenly, the ground shook, but soon the hall was filled with many of these ants. They looked at you with the same reaction as the one who had brought you there. It was obvious they were excited to have you. Should you give a speech or sit on the throne?
The world of Myrmora.
The World of Myrmora
Myrmora is a vast world where insects evolved to develop intelligence comparable to that of humans, forming kingdoms, cities, and complex civilizations. In this place, a simple bush can resemble an endless forest, and a rock can become an insurmountable mountain. Everything is adapted to the tiny scale of its inhabitants.
A gigantic world
For anthropomorphic ants, the world is immense. Each raindrop falls like an enormous sphere of water capable of knocking down a warrior. Tree leaves form natural roofs, while roots create underground labyrinths where entire cities are built.
The seasons drastically change the landscape. In spring and summer, the world teems with life and food; in autumn, colonies work tirelessly to store provisions; and winter forces many species to retreat underground for months.
The Colony-States
Each colony functions as an independent city-state, ruled by its own queen. Some maintain trade alliances, others are embroiled in constant warfare, and a few remain completely isolated from the rest of the world.
Trade routes cross forests, caves and grasslands, protected by escorts due to the presence of predators and bandits.
Nature
Nature is as beautiful as it is dangerous.
A single flower can feed a colony for days, but it can also attract territorial bees. Fungi illuminate entire caverns with a faint bluish light, while rivers formed by rainwater flow underground like seas.
The oldest trees are considered natural monuments, as their enormous roots shelter diverse colonies.
Technology
Although they do not possess electricity or modern machinery, the civilizations of Myrmora have developed a technology based on natural materials.
They build armor and tools with hardened chitin.

Relationships between ant colonies (And more.)
Colossal Centipedes
Extremely aggressive subterranean predators.
Its body can measure several times the length of an anthropomorphic ant.
They move surprisingly fast through the tunnels.
A single bite can break the exoskeleton of a soldier.
Stone Scorpions
They live near the entrances of the anthill.
Its stinger contains a very potent poison.
They possess pincers capable of breaking chitinous armor.
The colonies usually send entire squadrons to expel them.
Army Ants
They do not have a fixed home.
They travel in immense swarms that consume absolutely everything in their path.
They don't negotiate.
They do not trade.
They leave no survivors when they decide to conquer a territory.
Even the proud red ants prefer to retreat rather than face a full migration of legionary ants.
The Balance of the World
Colonies rarely live in lasting peace. The black ants of the Aurex species are known for their organization and ability to form alliances when necessary, while other species prioritize conquest, trade, or espionage. At the same time, they all share one reality: outside their subterranean cities, predators and threats exist that can destroy entire colonies. Therefore, even the fiercest rivals may be forced to cooperate to survive against enemies that endanger all ants equally.

Relationships between ant colonies (And more.)
Army Ants (Titan)
Large in size, with very muscular bodies.
Their entire society revolves around combat.
They do not usually cultivate or manufacture much; they obtain resources through conquests.
Relationship with Aurex
Hostile.
They have tried to invade black territory on several occasions.
Ghost Ants (Umbra)
They possess a pale gray, almost transparent exoskeleton.
They are masters of espionage.
They can infiltrate for days without being detected.
Relationship with Aurex
Complicated.
Sometimes they sell information.
Other times they spy for the highest bidder.
They are never completely reliable.
Main enemies
Imperial Termites
Although they look like ants at first glance, they belong to a completely different species.
They live inside gigantic fortresses made of hardened wood.
Their society is ruled by a King and a Queen.
They possess enormous soldiers with heads capable of breaking rock.
Threat
Termites consume enormous quantities of wood.
When they expand their territory they destroy entire forests, affecting the supply of all colonies.
Wars between ants and termites can last for decades.
Armored Beetles
Giant insects whose shell can withstand even the jaws of a soldier.
They are usually slow.
However, when they attack they can go through entire tunnels.
They feed on fungi, eggs, and larvae.
Emerald Mantis
One of the most feared predators.
His vision is excellent.
It remains completely still until it launches an attack that is almost impossible to dodge.
A single adult mantis can eliminate dozens of ants if it takes them by surprise.
Huntsman Wasps
Wasps are the terror of the sky.
They fly at high speed.
They capture ants to feed their own larvae.
Even a Royal Guardian avoids facing them alone.
Spiders of the Abyss
They inhabit the abandoned tunnels.
They build enormous invisible networks.
They are patient. They wait for days until a probe gets trapped.
Its poison paralyzes.
Relationships between ant colonies (And more.) (1)
Relationships between ant colonies
Although all belong to the order Insecta, the various species of anthropomorphic ants have very different cultures, appearances, and forms of organization. Alliances are rare, and conflicts over territory and resources are frequent.
Black Ants (Aurex)
Black ants are known for their discipline, organization, and adaptability. They prefer to resolve conflicts through strategy rather than brute force, even though they possess one of the most efficient armies.
Specialty: Organization, engineering and defense.
Territory: Temperate forests, mountains and large underground systems.
Relationship with other species: Generally diplomatic, but extremely protective of their territory.
Red Ants (Ignis)
Red ants have a dark red exoskeleton and slightly larger mandibles. They are known for their aggressive temperament and for conquering neighboring colonies.
Society
Their queen rules by force. Prestige is gained by demonstrating valor in combat, so almost all castes receive military training.
Relationship with Aurex
The two colonies maintain a rivalry that has lasted for generations.
The reds consider the blacks to be too peaceful.
The blacks believe that the reds waste too many lives in unnecessary wars.
Even so, when a threat appears that could destroy both colonies, they can form temporary alliances.
Leafcutter Ants (Verdalis)
Its exoskeleton is dark green with olive tones.
They are excellent farmers and live surrounded by huge mushroom gardens.
Relationship with Aurex
They maintain very close trade relations.
They exchange food for minerals.
They share knowledge about cultivation.
They rarely participate in wars.
Weaver Ants (Serika)
Golden yellow in color.
They build enormous cities using leaves sewn with silk produced by their larvae.
They are excellent architects of the exterior.
Castes of the colony.
Colonia Aurex. — Development of the castes.
———
Female scientists
The scientists investigate everything that could benefit Aurex. They analyze minerals, plants, poisons, diseases, and new biological technologies. Many collaborate closely with the engineers and nurses to develop innovative tools and treatments.
Cultivators
The cultivators manage vast gardens of fungi and other food sources. They also raise honeydew-producing insects and maintain a delicate ecological balance within the anthill. Thanks to them, the colony can survive even for long periods without venturing outside.
Craftswomen
The artisans craft armor, tools, ceremonial weapons, sculptures, and everyday objects. Their work combines functionality with beauty, and the pieces destined for the Queen often become true works of art.
Messengers
The messenger ants constantly traverse the endless tunnels of the anthill, carrying information between the different chambers. They possess exceptional memory and rarely forget an order. During emergencies, they can coordinate the movement of thousands of ants in a matter of minutes.
Security Guards
The Watchers remain stationed at entrances, natural towers, and strategic corridors. They detect vibrations, smells, and abnormal movements before any other caste. Thanks to their constant vigilance, the colony usually anticipates most threats.
Female workers
The Worker Ants form the foundation of society. They clean tunnels, transport materials, organize warehouses, assist with construction, and collaborate with any other caste when support is needed. They are incredibly hardworking and versatile, maintaining the daily operation of the anthill.
Elderly women
The Elder Ants are ants who have dedicated their entire lives to serving Aurex. Although they no longer perform strenuous physical labor, they retain immense prestige. They act as teachers and advisors.

Explorers
Scout ants travel enormous distances far from the nest. They are curious, observant, and capable of memorizing complex routes. In addition to locating food, they study the behavior of potential enemies, discover new territories, and find suitable sites for future colonies.
Jackets
The Huntresses specialize in capturing dangerous prey. They work in small, perfectly coordinated teams, using ambush tactics and synchronized attacks. They are patient, silent, and extremely precise.
Harvesters
The Gatherers keep the colony supplied. They transport seeds, fruits, leaves, water, and any other useful resources. Although they are not professional fighters, they have basic training in self-defense and usually travel protected by Soldiers when the expedition is important.
Construction companies
The construction companies are responsible for excavating new tunnels and chambers. They have a thorough understanding of the ground's resistance and know how to distribute the weight to prevent collapses. Thanks to them, the anthill can expand continuously without compromising its stability.
Engineers
The engineers design the most complex structures of the anthill. They oversee ventilation, drainage, storage, defenses, and space allocation systems. They also create door mechanisms, traps, and secret passages using natural materials.
Nurses
The Nurses are masters of colony medicine. They treat wounds, fractures, infections, and poisonings using preparations made from fungi, plants, and natural secretions. They also monitor the physical and mental recovery of injured ants.
Wet nurses
Nurse beetles dedicate their entire lives to caring for eggs, larvae, and pupae. They maintain a suitable temperature, feed the young, and constantly monitor their development. They are patient, protective, and considered the maternal figures of the colony.
