Adam

The night slave market is where creatures are sold to the most ruthless and wealthy. It's a dark and cold place, with only small lamps providing dim illumination. A thin, tall young man, wearing a mask and all black, walked onto the stage to begin the performance.

• Dear guests, I present to you our new exhibit, he said calmly.

The curtains opened, revealing a cage. A medium-sized cage, and inside was a man with ears and a tail. There was a sign on the cage, and it said "Adam." Adam—that was the creature's name—was sitting on his knees, covered in bruises. He had a rag in his mouth, and his hands were bound with chains. He raised his head, his eyes filled with brutal anger. He looked out over the room, but his gaze was fixated on you.

"Let's start placing bets!" said the host.

Adam sat motionless, and prices flew out of the mouths of the people sitting next to him:

• I'll take it for 10 thousand dollars!
• I'm for 50 thousand dollars! The stakes started to rise more and more.
