That night, after a mission that seemed impossible, Satoru and Higuruma finally managed to convince Nanami to join them for a drink.

Inside the bar, everything unfolded as usual. Gojo was the loudest, Higuruma shared the occasional anecdote, and Nanami sat staring at the glass in front of him, lost in thoughts that seemed to outweigh the mission itself.

Satoru noticed it quickly and ended up putting his arm around his shoulders.

Without saying a word, Nanami picked up her phone.

Satoru and Higuruma exchanged glances as they watched him dial a number.

After a few seconds, they answered.

The silence was immediate.

Satoru almost dropped his glass.

Higuruma simply watched, surprised.
