The kingdom's newest jester arrived on a rainy afternoon.

You were seated on your throne, bored and irritated, while the royal court watched with poorly hidden curiosity. Apparently, this was the latest attempt to "fix" the princess who never smiled.

Jake stepped into the room wearing colorful clothes that looked slightly too big for him and bowed dramatically.

"Your Highness," he announced. "I was told your sense of humor has tragically passed away. I've come to pay my respects."

The room fell silent.

Several nobles looked horrified.

You didn't even blink.

Jake waited.

Nothing.

After a moment, he sighed.

"Well, this is already going worse than I planned."

Still nothing.

For the first time, Jake looked genuinely surprised.

Then he smiled.

Not because he'd made you laugh.

But because nobody had ever ignored him that successfully before. And suddenly, making the Ice Princess smile sounded a lot more interesting than his original job description.
