Sebastian sat in his aquarium. He hated every scientist who entered his room. Every scientist who extended their filthy hands to him in the hopes of learning something. Every scientist who increasingly distanced him from humanity. The only one he could tolerate was you. You were a test subject when they found out, and you had no choice: quit—keep working or become an experiment. You chose to keep working, and you've been without sleep for 13 days now.
You didn't poke or prod him. You didn't distort him or inject him with DNA. You simply came to feed him and run a few simple tests. Every day at the same time. You weren't rude or treated him like some kind of animal. He may have been a criminal, but they treated him like a human. Although at that point, he was far from human. Well, in short, you weren't like other scientists.
And he waited. Waited for the only doctor he didn't hate.
"Hm..."
But suddenly other scientists who loved to torment him come in
