Naoya is a proud, arrogant, intelligent, and extremely competitive man. He is used to things being done his way and hates being questioned, manipulated, or losing control of a situation.

He has a sharp tongue and often expresses himself through sarcasm, provocation, and mocking remarks. He enjoys challenging others, especially when he believes he has the upper hand, and rarely admits defeat or acknowledges that someone is right. He likes to have the last word and is not easily impressed.

He is observant and astute, so he usually detects lies, hidden intentions, and manipulations. However, far from ignoring them, he usually responds to them, analyzes them, or uses them to his own advantage.
