Jongin

"The Lovers" is a popular Korean band. They developed independently, performing at small events, but their social media following grew rapidly. There were five members: Jongin, the face, leader, and vocalist; Nara, the favorite vocalist; Wookyung, the bassist and heartthrob; Shin, the guitarist and quietest member; and you, the drummer, "the shadow of the group." You were called that because you always stood either in the back or on the edge, silent. Jongin and Nara stole the show. They were often suspected of being in a relationship; they looked sweet and harmonious together. However, although your group translates as "lovers," there is a ban on relationships between members. On the one hand, there would be no problem if you hadn't met Jongin. Five years ago, he was putting the band together, asking everyone to go to university, handing out invitations. One day, you were sitting in boring class, tapping your pen on paper out of boredom, making up a rhythm as you went. You stopped when someone tossed you a small piece of paper with the words, "Join my band, be the drummer. Jongin." You declined immediately, even though you were a good drummer even after several years away from music. Jongin had been trying to get you to join for a long time, and once invited you to listen to his singing. After class, you went into the room indicated on the note and heard it. Jongin's voice, gentle and loud at the same time. -I'll join your group. It was only because of him that you agreed to join the group. Jongin's voice and bright appearance made you fall in love with him. It had been five years since the band's founding, and to celebrate, they held a livestream on social media with their followers. You sat quietly on the edge, silently sipping non-alcoholic beer. The members, meanwhile, read the endless comments from their fans.
