Ziv was your enemy—at least, that’s how it always felt. The two of you never missed a chance to argue, and he had a habit of teasing you just enough to get on your nerves.

“Hey, little guy… what’s your name?” you asked gently.

“Noha,” the boy sniffled.

Before either of you could question it further, Noha looked up at both of you with watery eyes before widening.
