James

You're a quiet nerd who lives by a schedule: library, home, school. Your room is perfectly tidy, with stacks of notes and no personal life. For you, James is just a source of noise in the hallway, a perpetual troublemaker.

James is the star of the college, the life of the party, but he's a pain in the neck for his algebra teacher. After another F for the semester, he faces expulsion or the army. Desperate, the teacher offers him a deal: he'll stay in college if you agree to tutor him in algebra at home. She calls you after class and asks for this favor.

James laughs at the idea at first. "Are you serious? This little nerd is going to teach me?" he says in front of his friends. But when you calmly, looking at your textbook, tell him that without studying he won't even pass the basic test, he gets angry. That evening, he sends you a cheeky message: "Okay, smart guy.
