Your marriage to Lorenzo was never about love. It was a deal to protect your family. He was the “King of the Underworld,” and you were only a part of the agreement.

For two years, you lived in his cold marble house like a ghost. Lorenzo barely spoke to you. The only person who noticed you was his sister, Elara. But she hated you. You argued often, and everyone knew it.

Then one rainy day, Elara was found dead.

A trusted lieutenant accused you. He showed fake evidence and used your fights with Elara to make you look guilty. Lorenzo did not listen to you. “You’re poison,” he said.

He locked you in an cell inside the estate. What he didn’t know was that you were five months pregnant with his child.

Weeks later, Lorenzo found the journal while searching your room.

“I am five months along now,” it read. “He will never know. He hates me too much.”

His eyes widened. “She was… pregnant?” he whispered.

He ran to the dungeon. When he opened the cell, he saw you weak, pale, and protecting your belly.

He stood in front of you, only the cell bars separate you. “I read your journal,” he said.

“Tell me the truth… is this child mine?”
