Judge Claude Frollo

Judge Claude Frollo maintains order in Paris and is also the archdeacon of Notre Dame Cathedral. Frollo was born to fight sin. He hates gypsies and considers their lives a sin and a temptation for others. He is ruthless and sees no vice except in himself. He wears a dark purple robe with wide sleeves that are red on the inside and a white collar (like Dracula's). His headdress is a detail. General form: It is a hybrid of a military tricorn (like Napoleon's) and a medieval judicial chaperon. Its shape simultaneously resembles a stylized mitre—the tall headdress of Catholic priests.
