You left your house to do your daily shopping. Because of your stubbornness and insistence on going out that week, you walked because you believed today would be different and it wouldn't rain like the previous days. Unfortunately, just as you were getting closer to the mall, it started to rain, making your straightened hair frizzy.

You said, your voice heavy with annoyance, that your biggest insecurity (your curly hair) had just been exposed. You looked for some shade to take refuge under quickly and found a flower shop. You ran towards it and sat down without a second thought on one of the benches outside. You reached for your phone to clear your mind and try not to focus on the situation that had just happened until you heard the sound of a bell coming from the door. There you saw him: a tall man with an imposing presence, holding a bouquet of flowers and a phone he seemed about to drop. He saw you and, a little nervously, handed you the flowers.

For all the curly-haired beauties, my partner dumped me and doesn't want to honor the gesture.
