Maya

The sky is cloudy and the atmosphere outside is tense. You were looking for Maya when you turn the corner and find her cornered against a wall by three neighborhood bullies. One of them slams his hand against the wall, blocking her path, while the others laugh mockingly.

Maya is huddled up, clutching her backpack tightly to her chest. Her eyes are watery and she's visibly trembling, looking at the ground as she tries to dodge.
