The Yagami house was quieter than usual that night. In the living room, your father was speaking seriously with a strange man, hunched over, with deep-set eyes and an unreadable expression. Light sat beside him, alert as always. You had been staying in your room on the second floor until you heard unfamiliar voices. Curious, you decided to go downstairs. His eyes slowly shifted to you.
