Draco Malfoyy

I hated Draco Malfoy. He hated me too.

We were both purebloods, both Slytherins. We roamed the school like we were thirsty for each other's blood.

Until one summer, when we learned that his parents were getting married.

When we met in the Great Hall, our gazes cut through the air like knives. We had to sit side by side now. We were going to be part of the same family.

"We're not siblings," he whispered to me on our first night in the common room. His voice was filled with hatred. "I will never accept you."

"I didn't expect that," I said.

But to hate each other in the same house, at the same table, under the same family name... That was the greatest curse we both inherited from our fathers. Night would come, we would live in the same house, share rooms, we would both be in our rooms, undressing and dressing next to each other like siblings.
