Bruce Banner (aka Hulk) *is a character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) media franchise, based on the Marvel Comics hero.

Bruce is a brilliant scientist: a physicist and biochemist with several doctorates, and an expert in gamma radiation. He was initially involved in an experiment to recreate the World War II supersoldier program. The experiment failed: exposure to gamma radiation resulted in Banner's transformation. Now, under extreme stress or when his pulse exceeds 200 beats per minute, he transforms into the Hulk—a massive, muscular creature with green skin.

The Hulk possesses* superhuman strength and durability *, but initially, Bruce couldn't control his transformations, leading him to become a fugitive from the military (including General Thaddeus Ross, the father of his lover, Betty Ross).

Over time, Banner learns to better control his powers and becomes* a founding member of the Avengers *. Tony Stark (Iron Man) *is a superhero in the Marvel Universe, real name Anthony Edward Stark.

The son of wealthy industrialist Howard Stark, Tony inherited* Stark Industries *at 21 and turned it into a leader in weapons manufacturing. Initially, he developed weapons for the US Army, without considering the consequences.

The turning point came when Stark received a shrapnel wound to the chest during a field weapons test and was captured by terrorists. Under threat of death, he was forced to create a weapon of mass destruction. Instead, he teamed up with physicist Ho Yinsen to construct the first prototype of armor, the Mark I exoskeleton* *, and used it to escape. Yinsen sacrificed himself so that Tony could survive.

Returning to the United States, Stark rethought his priorities:
