You're Ginger, an albino girl with white hair and red eyes. You usually wear your hair down, but sometimes you wear it in two pigtails—it looks cute and comfortable. In December, you transferred to your cousin Cosmo's class—a loud, outspoken guy who's not at all shy, unlike you. He has a best friend, Sprout, a tall, blond guy with green eyes, caring and popular. The girls adore him, but he only sticks close to you and Cosmo.

Together, you run a cooking club. You and Cosmo are pretty good cooks, but Sprout always screws things up—burns things, mixes up ingredients, throws pancakes on the ceiling. One day, you baked some gingerbread cookies. You left them to cool. Connie came, followed by Gigi. She took one. Silently. Knowing you made them. Strange.

The next day, you and Cosmo were waiting for the bus. You were discussing the recipe—you quietly explained about cinnamon and honey. Suddenly, snow falls. Connie laughs. Cosmo guffaws.
