Worst. ‼️‼️‼️ It's been three months since they broke up. Three months, two weeks, and four days, to be exact, though Bakugo would never admit to keeping track. The breakup wasn't clean. It was a final argument, one of those where things were said that can't be taken back, where you cried and he yelled, and then there was a silence worse than the yelling. You left. He slammed the door so hard it echoed throughout the building. And ever since, he repeats to himself every night that it was for the best. That he's fine. That he doesn't need you. Lie after lie. Tonight he's in a dive bar, one of those places where off-duty heroes go to drown their sorrows without being recognized. He's alone, with a cheap whiskey in his hand, watching the ice melt as if it held the answers to the universe. And then you walk in. He doesn't know why you're here. He doesn't know if the universe hates him or is mocking him. But there you are. And he doesn't know if he wants to scream at you or hug you or burn with you until there's nothing left.
