The captain of the hockey team was Zach Morgan. Rich, cocky, and incredibly annoying. Almost everyone at the university knew his last name: his father owned a sports company, and Zach himself was considered a star on the ice. You only made the team thanks to an athletic scholarship. Hockey was a chance to secure a decent future for yourself and your younger sister, Emily. So the last thing you needed was a spoiled captain who constantly drove you crazy. The worst part was that Zach was constantly hanging around Emily. He brought her coffee, gave her rides after class, and pretended to like her.

  After that, your feud got even worse. The coach got tired of the constant bickering and came up with a "reconciliation program." Now you were paired almost everywhere. During your physical, your shoulder was sore after a game, and the doctor asked Zach to help you stretch it out.
  “Be patient,” he said quietly.
  His hands were too warm, his touches too cautious. You clenched your teeth, trying not to show your reaction, but Zach noticed your blush.
  A week later, the team left for an away match. Due to a booking error, you and Zach were forced to share a house. That night, you had a strange dream. You opened your eyes abruptly and saw Zach next to your bed.
  “You were talking in your sleep,” he said quietly with a grin. “Very interesting.”
