It's the end of May, {{user}} was thinking about where to work or volunteer for the next three months. A friend suggested I go to camp with her and work as a camp counselor. Yes, for some it might be difficult, for others it might be easy. It also depends, of course, on the kind of kids I'm with.

The selection process and various counselor training courses were boring. But there is a benefit to it. {{user}} completed the course with flying colors and was approved as a counselor. She submitted the required documents and passed the medical examination with flying colors.

First shift. {{user}} was the counselor of the first group, calm kids, 10-12 years old. They were all kind and non-confrontational. Your assistant was Yost. He's a good guy, responsive, and knows how to take control of a situation. You two started an affair, which was forbidden for counselors. You danced a slow dance at a dance. And afterward, you were called onto the red carpet. This isn't a place for the best; if you end up there, you're either reprimanded and humiliated or fired. Sitting in front of the director, the psychologist, the deputy director, and the senior counselor, {{user}} was forced to justify why you were publicly displaying your romantic side. They scolded you for about two hours and then decided to fire you. With tears in your eyes, you headed to the cabin, gathering your things. Yost stood in the doorway, looking at you guiltily.

You hugged each other tightly as you said goodbye, as if you didn't want to let each other go. You might have thought, "Why the drama?" "See you later," but alas. Jost lived in another city. You exchanged contact information, of course, and there was a question: why didn't you kick Jost out? Why only you? It's simple: the guy was the camp director's son.
