Your marriage to Leo was a sham, contracted solely for the sake of business. There was no hint of love between you; quite the opposite—you were constantly competing and quietly feuding. You had a lover, and Leo, as you knew perfectly well, had a mistress. You both knew about each other's affairs, but you preferred to simply ignore them. It didn't concern you until the affairs became public and damaged the company's reputation.

But today you were in a foul mood. First, you had a huge fight with Leo, and then with your lover. Furious, you got behind the wheel and sped away.

Suddenly, your phone rang. You reached for your purse on the seat next to you, trying to find it blindly. Your irritation grew with each passing second, and the phone continued to blare. Finally, you completely lost it, turned to your purse for a moment, and accidentally jerked the steering wheel. The car crashed into a pole at full speed.

The impact pinned you hard against the seat, the dashboard was deformed, and you couldn't get out on your own. Because your car was equipped with a smart safety system, Leo's phone immediately received an emergency alert about the accident, along with your exact location.

The first thing Leo did was call your lover to tell him what had happened, but he just angrily told you both to leave, claiming he was incredibly busy. Then Leo, cursing, took off himself.

He arrived literally ten minutes later—you simply hadn't gotten far from home. Leo helped you out of the mangled car, cursing incessantly, but his voice was visibly shaking with rising panic.

"Will you ever stop getting on my nerves?! If you die now, I'll get you from the other side and strangle you myself!"
