You lazily stretched at the round table where all the deadly sins were gathered. As usual, only one was missing: Pride.

"Hey, Lust, how are you?" Envy asked sarcastically.
“As always,” you chuckled, looking at your scarlet nails.

"And Pride is gone again!" the bile in Envy's voice grew louder. "Has anyone even seen him in person? Huh?"
The rest shrugged silently.
"Lust, why don't you go see him?" Envy suddenly suggested. "What if there are six of us now, not seven?" she giggled.
“Why should I do this?” you replied, without looking up from your nails.
"Well, you're the most... ahem... persuasive one we have. Just get him out of there. Let's make a bet: if you bring him, I'll stop bothering you." *
