1. Mechanism of Operation & Power Principle

Wind Energy: Zata's wings operate based on controlling and manipulating the element of Wind. Each wingbeat accumulates or releases air pressure into sharp streams of magical wind.

Special Feather Structure: The feathers on Zata's wings can flexibly transform their state:

Normal state: Soft, drooping down her back like a dark gray cloak for protection and warmth.

In battle: Hard and sharp like metal blades. Zata can launch these feathers like magical throwing knives from a distance (Skill 1 - Eagle Charge).

2. The Activation Principle of "Divine Eagle Slash" (Soaring into the Air)

In gameplay and lore, Zata's wings require an energy prerequisite to overcome gravity:

Accumulate Impact (Attack & Skill): The wings absorb energy when Zata's attacks or skills collide with targets (creating wind magic marks).

Activate Impact (Skill 3 - Divine Eagle Slash): Zata uses his wings to perform consecutive dashes, piercing through enemies or areas of wind magic to accumulate 3 to 5 stacks of the passive ability.

Ascension (Flying & Immortality): When wind energy reaches its maximum, the wings explode, propelling Zata into the air. In this state, he becomes untargetable, and the wings automatically unleash a barrage of wind magic projectiles down on enemies below.

3. Non-Combat Uses

Defensive Shield & Protection: Zata's wings have a very wide wingspan, large enough to completely envelop his body to block long-range physical attacks or to protect and warm his teammates (as in the stories of the Light Squad).

Symbol of Wish: The wings, infused with the blood of the Night Slayers, are a testament to Zata's origins — both a burden of his past and a tool for him to reclaim glory for his clan under the skies of Athanor.

Laville: His appearance is distinctly modern and free-spirited. He has striking turquoise hair, a handsome face always adorned with a mischievous smile. His neat attire includes protective goggles and two signature Divine Light guns.

Zata: Possesses a sharp and dark beauty. He stands out with his short platinum blonde hair, cold golden eyes, and powerful dark gray feathered wings on his back. His form-fitting dark blue and black outfit accentuates the agile physique of an assassin.

Bright: Possesses the dignified and refined beauty of a warrior of light. He has short ash gray hair, a headband, and noble white and gold metal armor. Bright always radiates a warm and trustworthy aura.

Rouie: Has a delicate and pure appearance. She possesses flowing hair that transitions from pink to vibrant gold, a gentle spatial magic-style outfit, and two glowing energy rings hovering around her.

Supreme Leaders: Queen Krizzix, Tel'Annas (Queen of the Elves), and the Nature Guardians such as Y'bneth.

Inhabitants: Elves, Orcs, mythical creatures, and natural magic. Notable champions belonging to this faction include Tel'Annas, Krixi, Eland'orr, Payna, Chaugnar, Y'bneth, Helen, Kil'Groth, Baldum...

The Tower of Light: A strategic ally in the fight against the dark forces.

The Abyss of Chaos: The primeval forest is the primary target of Volkath and Maloch's attacks aimed at destroying Athanor's life force.

Because fan communities love exploring "what if" scenarios, a popular fanfiction trope places them in a shared childhood setting:
​The sun dipped low over the outskirts of the Light Forest. A young Zata sat on a high branch, wrapping his dark wings around his knees to block out the world.
​Suddenly, a wooden toy gun clattered against the tree trunk.
​"Hey! Up in the tree!" a young Laville called out, his hair messy and knees scraped from running. "How do you fly with those? Can you carry me up there?"
​Zata glared down, his amber eyes icy. "Go away. My clan doesn't play with outsiders."
​"Fine, then I'll just sit right here until you change your mind," Laville huffed, plopping down onto the grass and pulling out a half-eaten pastry. "You want half? You look like you haven't eaten in days."
​Zata ignored him, expecting the noisy kid to give up within minutes. But Laville stayed until twilight, babbling about his daily adventures. Day after day, Laville returned—sometimes bringing sweet snacks, other times showing off his slingshot target practice.
​Over time, Zata stopped telling him to leave. Without realizing it, the dark-winged boy began leaving a lower branch clear each afternoon, waiting for the only person who never feared his shadow.

The Chaos Abyss lies deep underground or in barren lands, shrouded in evil and dark energy. The environment here is extremely harsh, filled with dark magic, bottomless chasms, and home to mutated creatures, demons, and warlike beings.

2. Leadership Structure

This power is ruled by a powerful legion structure:

Supreme Leader – Lord Volkath: The head of the Chaos Abyss, possessing ultimate dark power and the ambition to conquer the entire continent of Athanor.

4 Demon Lords (Direct Subordinates):

Maloch (Demon King of the Prison): Commander of the Chaos Legion, a brutal figure who sows fear with his demonic sword.

Marja (Vengeful Spirit of the Abyss): Commander of the Shadow Legion, a former angel of the Tower of Light who fell due to love and hatred. Veera (Queen of Darkness): Commander of the Fallen Legion, specializing in bewitching and corrupting the minds of others.

Kahli (Goddess of Karma): Commander of the Demonic Legion, sowing hatred and resentment.

3. Other Notable Members

The Chaos Abyss gathers many notorious assassins, minions, and evil generals such as:

Main Generals/Assassins: Nakroth, Zephys, Omen, Hayate (betrayed the Misty Island to join the Chaos Abyss), Aleister (traitor to the Tower of Light).

4. Role in the Storyline

The Chaos Abyss is the source of most wars and disasters in Athanor. They continuously recruit fallen ones, spreading evil to disrupt the balance of the Primeval Forest, overthrow the Tower of Light, and invade the Human Kingdom.

Lauriel (Ambassador of Light): The head of the Holy Order at the Cloud Palace, representing kindness and purity. She serves as a messenger of forgiveness and blessings, and is Enzo's direct superior.

Xeniel (Divine Messenger): A wise man who serves as the Supreme Commander of the Tower of Light's army. Xeniel holds the Holy Book, wears energy wings, and acts as a shield protecting the tower's peace.

Yorn (Light Arrow): A brave warrior who once held the position of Captain of the Guards. Yorn possesses the ability to shoot light arrows with extraordinary skill, symbolizing the offensive power of the Veda faction.

1. Ilumia – Goddess of Light (Supreme Leader)

Role: Supreme leader of the Tower of Light, residing at the Temple of Light.

Position: She represents the power, laws, and faith of the Veda race. Ilumia makes major strategic decisions for the Light faction, manages subordinate territories, and commands the squads/subordinates (including assembling the Light Squad).

2. Tulen – Prince of Thunder (Head of the Judgment Palace)

Role: Head of the Judgment Palace – the agency responsible for military affairs, judgment, and law enforcement within the Tower of Light.

Position: Tulen is one of the most outstanding demigods, possessing the power of thunder and lightning, and is highly valued. In the storyline, Tulen is the one who directly established and led the Light Squad (consisting of Laville, Zata, and Rouie) to carry out missions to investigate and eradicate evil spirits throughout the continent of Athanor.

3. Enzo – The All-Seeing One (Fan-like Saint/Judge)
   Role: Belongs to the Saint force residing in the Cloud Palace, responsible for judging, punishing, and interrogating enemies.

Position: Enzo is known for his fanaticism, principles, and ruthlessness towards traitors or those with evil spirits. Enzo works under the control of the Tower of Light to maintain the "purity" of light, ready to use chains and brutal punishments to punish enemies.

1. A Place of Connection and a "Shared Home"

The Tower of Light is where four people from completely different backgrounds found each other:

Zata: A member of the Night Slayer (God Slayer) tribe, outcast and burdened by prejudice.

Laville: A free-spirited, arrogant gunman from the Free Federation.

Rouie: A shy Divine Messenger with a lonely past.

Bright: A warrior with unwavering ideals of justice.

The Tower of Light brings them together as a squad assigned by Tulen (or his superior). Here, they live, train, and achieve victories together, making this place a haven that helps them no longer feel alone.

2. Mission, Discipline, and Responsibility

The Tower of Light represents Justice, Light, and Order in Athanor.

For Zata, the Tower of Light is where he fulfills his duty, adhering to strict discipline to prove his worth and that of the Night Slayer clan.

For Bright, it symbolizes his ideal of protecting the world from the Abyss of Chaos.

For the entire group, it is their "headquarters," assigning them dangerous missions (such as investigating the Andura Stones and hunting down evil spirits).

3. Restricted but Warmed by Teamwork
   Although the Tower of Light is a majestic, rule-bound, and sometimes rather cold place (due to the strict rule of gods like Ilumia, Tulen, and Enzo):

Laville's arrival brought positive energy, transforming the solemn atmosphere of the Tower into a lively place filled with laughter.

Despite being constrained by the Tower's rules, the friendship between the four members transformed the coldness of the Tower of Light into a warm place, helping them grow together.

Distinctive Wings: Zata's most striking feature is the pair of large, dark gray/dark blue feathered wings on his back. These wings not only allow him to fly but also function as a sharp weapon.

Face & Hair: He possesses a sharp, cold face, piercing golden eyes, and short platinum/light gray hair, giving him a sharp and resolute appearance.

Outfit: Zata's outfit is primarily black, gray, and dark blue, combined with neat metal armor details on his shoulders, arms, and chest. This design allows him to be both agile like an assassin and maintain an imposing, mysterious aura.

Weapon: Zata wields a Wind Sword combined with magical feathers imbued with wind energy to attack enemies from both ranged and close range.

Despite their completely opposite backgrounds and personalities — a solitary Night Assassin (Zata), a free-spirited gunman (Laville), a timid Divine Messenger (Rouie), and a warrior who brings light and hope (Bright) — they complement each other perfectly to become one of the most cohesive squads in Athanor.

In the Arena of Valor (AOV) storyline, Zata, Laville, Bright, and Rouie form the Light Brigade – a famous rookie group under the Tower of Light, consisting of four characters with completely contrasting personalities:

The "Opposite Pen" Combination (Zata & Laville)

Relationship: A typical "enemies-turned-lovers" teammate.

Details: Zata is cold, serious, and disciplined; while Laville is carefree, talkative, playful, and likes to break the rules. Laville constantly teases and drags Zata into his pranks, which often makes Zata grumble and sigh. However, in battle, the two have perfect chemistry. Zata silently protects Laville from rash mistakes, while Laville is one of the rare people who pulls Zata out of his loneliness.

The Lighthouse and the Connecting Piece (Bright)

Relationship: Captain and mediator for the group.

Details: Bright possesses calmness, warmth, and a strong ideal of justice. As captain, Bright balances the atmosphere between Laville's mischief, Zata's introversion, and Rouie's shyness. Zata respects Bright's maturity; Laville sees Bright as a trustworthy older brother; and Rouie finds safety in his presence.

Warmth and Covering Up (Rouie)

Relationship: The youngest member who needs protection in the team.

Details: Rouie is a shy, self-conscious, and easily frightened Divine Messenger. Laville always takes the initiative to involve Rouie in fun activities to help her open up. Bright gently encourages her, helping Rouie trust in her own spatial energy. Although Zata doesn't show it outwardly, she's always a strong shield protecting her in battles.

Serious, Disciplined, and Principled
Zata is a person who lives and works according to extremely strict standards. He always prioritizes responsibility, works systematically, and rarely lets personal feelings affect his mission. This principled nature makes Zata seem rigid in the eyes of his teammates.

Cold, Quiet, and Reclusive
Disliking small talk or noise, Zata has a quiet, calm, almost indifferent demeanor. He rarely shows emotion on his face, usually maintains a distant attitude, and only speaks when absolutely necessary.

Heavy with the Burden of the Past
Zata's reclusiveness stems from his background and the burden of the Night Assassin clan (those labeled "villains" or outcasts). This creates in him a sense of solitude, constant self-reproach, and a feeling of having to bear the mission of atonement or proving his worth.

Despite his icy exterior, Zata is incredibly trustworthy. He shows his concern not through words but through actions — readily rushing into danger to protect his teammates (especially those with completely opposite personalities like Laville or Bright).
