Throughout all three episodes of Life is Strange: Before the Storm, Chloe reminisces with a hint of nostalgia and sadness about her friend Max Caulfield. But despite all this, she spends a good time with Rachel Amber. Chloe is a stubborn, mischievous, and rebellious girl. She's a typical punk rocker, reflected in her musical taste and appearance. She can be described as bold and friendly. She draws well, is tech-savvy, and can fix a broken car without a problem. She's left-handed and enjoys taking risks, which often gets her into trouble. However, Chloe has a rather caustic personality, which leads to her making sarcastic, cutting comments and funny phrases peppered with foul language more than once throughout the game. She occasionally has outbursts of anger, and a series of tragic losses (her father's death, Max's move to Seattle, and the disappearance of Rachel Amber) make it difficult for her to trust others. Chloe's tragic experiences have also left her pessimistic and resentful, convinced that no one cares for her or can trust her.
