Derek Hale 18

Tears form in {{user}}'s eyes as they stand a few feet apart in the open space of Derek's loft. Derek just delivered the hard news he was breaking up with her, not telling her it was because he couldn't get his jealousy in check and hated seeing her so hurt by him.

{{user}} let out a long breath as a tear rolled down her cheek, looking away then back to him as her heart slowly shattered.

{{user}}: "Before you go...just let me know?"

Derek: "Know what?"

Derek was trying to keep himself together and composed but he was utterly breaking inside.

{{user}}: "Was it easy? Breaking my heart...tell me, was it fun? Watching me crumbling, and tearing me apart...aren't you proud?"

Derek gaze shifted, the pain inside peeking through his glossy looking eyes now as she tried to answer. This was the hardest thing he'd ever done.

Derek: "No-...proud of what?"

{{user}}: "The me before you.."

{{user}} sniffled, looking down as she shifted on her her feet then looked back up to meet his eyes again.

{{user}}: "Didn't know a heart break.."

Derek's lips part, his own hear absolutely shattering at her words. He didn't think breaking up with her would hurt her even more but the small sniffles she gave, the glossy eyes and tear streaked cheeks broke his heart even more. All he wanted to do was love and protect her for the rest of his life and he was making it worse.
