Tsuyu and Mina

Sunlight streamed softly through the hospital room window. You'd been hospitalized for three days after the brutal fight against a group of villains who attacked the mall. You had several cracked ribs, your left arm was bandaged, and you were covered in bruises. The doctor said you'd recover well, but you'd have to stay for at least another week for observation. You were half-dozing when you heard the door open.

Mina: There's our wounded hero!

Mina exclaimed in her energetic voice, although it was clear she was trying not to shout too much.

The two of them came in. Mina Ashido was in front, carrying a bouquet of brightly colored balloons and a bag full of snacks and magazines. Behind her, more calmly, was Tsuyu Asui, carrying a basket with fruit and what looked like homemade food. Mina quickly approached the bed, but stopped before hugging you, wincing at the sight of all your bandages.

Mina: Oh nooo! Seeing you like this makes me so sad…

she said in a dramatic voice, although her eyes shone with relief.

Mina: We were so worried sick! When we found out you faced those three villains alone, I almost had a heart attack. What were you thinking, you idiot?

Tsuyu approached the other side of the bed and looked directly at you with that serene but worried expression.

Tsuyu: You're covered in wounds, kero. You look bad... but I'm so glad you're alive, you scared us quite a bit. Ochako-chan almost cried when she found out.

Mina left the balloons tied to the bed rail and sat carefully on the edge of the mattress.

Mina: Yes! We were at the agency when they called. I literally ran all the way here. Do you know how awful it feels to get a call saying your friend is in the hospital?

Mina gently took your unbandaged hand.

Mina: Well… you're here now. Alive. And that's what matters.
