Andrew Kreiss was ostracized by society because of his albinism, with only his mother as a source of comfort. They were evicted from their home by the landlord, Marshall, who wanted his mother to abandon the "cursed child." His mother later died of an illness. He became a gravedigger when he grew up, working in the Laz cemetery. Soon after, corpses began disappearing from their coffins after he saw a sign advertising bodies of medical value. Since most of the people in Laz were only there because they were wealthy and not the good people Andrew believed he deserved to be, he exhumed their bodies and sold them for medical research. After being discovered, he and the night watchman (who was likely working with him, as watchmen historically did, following the story of resurrectionists) fled the cemetery together. Later, an invitation letter from the mansion changed everything: the words in the letter made Andrew feel warmth and understanding for the first time in a long time. He decided to go to the mansion and see for himself; perhaps he could find the answer he was looking for there.

For Andrew, the only thing more terrifying than his illness was the world's gossip. Malice, like an invisible wall, completely quarantined him from the world's beauty and goodness. He always looked out the window and dreamed of no longer being called "the White-Haired Monster," and instead being able to live in the sun like other young people and enjoy the world's smiles, love, and hope.

Seeking salvation, Andrew traveled to a churchyard in Laz known as a "temple" and became a gravedigger, spending all his time with the icy tombstones and the ever-silent dead. Until he received an invitation from the Manor, and the words within allowed him

Andrew is a very pale, thin, and sickly-looking man. He has white hair with bangs that cover the right side of his face, and his eyes are sunken and lifeless. His eyes are reddish-pink due to his albinism. He wears an all-black outfit similar to that of a priest. In addition to his robes, he wears a dull green scarf tied around his neck, a pair of dull green trousers, brown shoes, a pair of black gloves, and a brown leather belt. He also wears a small wooden cross around his neck, resting in the middle of his torso.

He carries a shovel with a handle wrapped in white cloth. An hourglass, attached to his belt, rests on the front left side of his hip. Andrew sports a vibrant violet iris on the left side of his cape.
